Artist Sean Chen (pro Creators Workshop member) recently was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal Online!
Sean was interviewed by reporter Wendy Bound for a Comics 2.0 story on the Wall Street Journal's "Off Duty" show.
During the segment, recorded in Sean's home art studio, he discussed how he broke into comics, how technology has changed his work, and he even walks viewers through the step-by-step process of creating a cover.
The cover he created featured the super-hero version of WSJO reporter Wendy Bound, which she really seemed to love!
Although Sean appears briefly earlier, you can see his segment starting at about the 8-minute, 50-second mark.
We're lucky to have Sean as a member of the Workshop, offering pro critiques to our members.
Congrats on the Wall Street Journal interview, Sean!
If you want to make comics, write or draw comics, or improve as a comics creator, you'll find like-minded friends and colleagues in our online workshops and courses. We hope to see you there!
